SITUATION:
Electric providers are struggling to keep track of the technology changes that are happening in the field, primarily with the installation of LED lights. Their records are falling behind in regards to the the type of light, fixture style, and the type of bulb being used. This means that they are probably not billing the city the right amount for power usage and that needs to change.
SOLUTION:
VentureSum’s Streelight Inventory Service will allow this situation to be rectified. When we do a streetlight inventory, we will take note of every single streelight in the city, record the features of each light and provide a side-by-side comparison chart of what is in the electric provider’s system and what is actually in the field.
DELIVERABLE:
Side-by-side comparison of what is recorded to be in the field by the electric company in their system and what is actually in the field as notated by VentureSum so that the invoice to the city can be updated for the proper amount of power usage per month.
